Custom development

Polytrope specializes in development using FileMaker technologies: FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Server, and now FileMaker Go (for iPhone and iPad). Polytrope’s principal is Will Porter (certified in FileMaker Pro 8). Will has published major reviews of every version of FileMaker Pro since version 4, in Macworld, Tidbits, Mactech and other magazines. Will handles FileMaker development on his own most of the time, but has an excellent network of extraordinarily talented associates who have assisted, often in a major way, on projects that require other skills.

In the past Polytrope has worked on projects for a major UK television station, the Chicago public school district, several different universities, a company that handles incentive travel programs, a company that markets and supports an expert system in the fashion world that we helped develop, various newspapers, an art school in Denmark, a psychological testing company, a major mass-tort litigation law firm, the international headquarters of a Christian evangelical church, and an assisted-living center, and on and on.
